About

Tikara’s passion for postpartum care and breastfeeding stems from her own journey after giving birth to premature twins at just over 31 weeks gestation. As a military family, she and her husband were far from home and had little external support, relying solely on a few coworkers and hospital staff. Her experience as a NICU parent highlighted the widespread misinformation and inadequate education many women receive about breastfeeding and postpartum care. Now, Tikara provides tailored postpartum and lactation support to families of all types. Drawing on her personal experiences and evidence-based research, she is dedicated to helping families avoid common frustrations and challenges by offering expert, personalized care—available in-home, in-office and virtually.
