The Big Latch On Of Central Virginia (In Support of The Global Big Latch On)

Join Tikara Cannon, Lactation Counselor/Postpartum Doula and Ashley Fore, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in celebration of breastfeeding/pumping parents! We will be at Pen Park on Friday, April 14, 2023 from 10am-11:30am near the children’s playground area. Come out to share your experiences among your peers, at 11:00am we will photograph all participants feeding their infant/child breastmilk in any way that you wish, pumping and full-term breastfeeding included! Each participant will receive a bag of goodies and resources for postpartum and lactation support in our community!

What is The Big Latch On?

“At registered Global Big Latch On locations around the world, women, parents and families gather together to feed their children and offer peer support to each other. The events are a celebration of breastfeeding, though all types of infant feeding are recognised as valid and supported. Volunteers from within the local community host each location.
